DKNY’s Fall 2011 Collection was an edgy combination of bold colors. The models wore bright combinations of red, dark mustard, fuchsia, orange, black, and white. Some of these colors were combined in striped sweaters or patched pleated panels of chiffon, while others stood bravely on their own as a tomato red mini-dress or mustard colored shrunken man’s shirt. Some of the key statements of the collection were the boyfriend-blazer-turned-capes, which looked as though they had just been placed over the models' shoulders. While the capes and puffer jackets drew attention for their volume, most ensembles were slim combinations of crisp shirts, striped sweaters, pencil pants, and blazers. We’re looking forward to DKNY’s colorful Fall!
